CNC Operator Job Description
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating CNC machinery, with expertise in lathe operations and the ability to read blueprints. As a CNC Operator, you will play a crucial role in producing high-quality components for our products, ensuring precision and adherence to specifications.
Duties
Operate CNC machines to fabricate parts according to specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand production requirements.
Utilize GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles to ensure accuracy in machining processes.
Conduct routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime.
Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve manufacturing processes.
Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards.
Requirements
Proven experience as a CNC Operator in a manufacturing facility.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various types of CNC equipment.
Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical specifications.
Familiarity with GD&T principles is preferred.
Experience with CAM programming is a plus.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
