Job Details:
• Design “American Made” products for the towing, fishing, and UTV industries
• Consult with engineers or other personnel to research, design, evaluate, install, operate, or maintain mechanical products, equipment, systems, or processes to meet requirements
• Design, maintain and build fixtures to ensure consistent quality and production
• Follow projects through all phases of manufacturing (concept thru product release)
• Perform FEA and design verification as well as real world product testing
• Understand document control, GD&T, and quality control
• Diagnose manufacturing defects through remedial actions on Lasers, Robotic Welders, CNC Machining Centers, Advanced Press Brake Forming Machines, and many other tools
• Oversee installation, operation, maintenance, or repair of equipment to ensure that manufacturing processes are functioning according to specifications
• Push the limits of our engineering design and manufacturing processes
• Lead project teams to produce the best quality products and ensure the team’s success
• Work well under pressure and make decisions
Qualifications:
• Mechanical Engineering Degree (Or equivalent experience)
• Proficient in using SolidWorks or equivalent CAD software
• Strong understanding of sheet metal is a plus
• Great project management skills
• Experience with basic shop tools- manufacturing experience a plus
• Understanding of electrical and machine design is a plus
• Experience with Quality Control & product testing is a plus
• Enjoy working on the shop floor as much as at a desk
Physical Requirements
• Be able to stand and walk all the time
• Ability to occasionally move objects weighing 60 pounds
• Ability to respond to visual and audible queues
• Ability to handle and move materials frequently
