New SBA Red Tape Hotline to Support U.S. Manufacturers

Important News for Manufacturing and Trade Partners,

SBA Red Tape Hotline IMA Idaho Manufacturing Alliance

As we continue to support the vital role of manufacturing in our economy, I wanted to share an important new resource from the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA): the Red Tape Hotline.

This new initiative directly supports the Administration’s commitment to strengthening American manufacturing, as highlighted in the recently announced “SBA Announced Made in Manufacturing Initiative.” As you may recall from SBA Administrator Loeffler’s memo on Day One Priorities

(available here: SBA Administrator Loeffler Issues Memo on Day One Priorities | U.S. Small Business Administration]),

…a key focus is on ensuring our manufacturers have the resources and support they need to thrive.

We understand that navigating regulations and bureaucratic processes can be a significant challenge for manufacturers. The new Red Tape Hotline is designed to directly address these concerns by providing a dedicated channel for you to report and seek assistance with burdensome federal regulations.

This hotline will allow the SBA to:

  • Gather direct feedback from manufacturers on specific regulatory hurdles they face.
  • Identify areas where processes can be streamlined and made more efficient.
  • Provide direct assistance in navigating complex federal requirements.

We strongly encourage you to utilize this valuable resource whenever you encounter federal regulations that impede your growth and competitiveness. By sharing your experiences, you will directly contribute to creating a more favorable environment for U.S. manufacturing.
